Eastshore Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I cannot get print bills to work when saving to a predefined ticket. I have just set-up a new system and am very familiar with the Loyverse App. I have an Xprinter XP-q80B which works perfectly printing receipts and opening the cash drawer. I am using predefined tickets, and have set the printer to "Print receipts and bills" and "Automatically print receipt". I have also tried turning on and off "Print orders". Nothing helps. I'm running the latest version of the App, have tried uninstalling/reinstalling it. I've logged out/logged in again. I've uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it. It is not on the selectable list of printers, so it is set as "other". In advance setting the "initial esc/pos commands is blank. Other fields have commands. The printer is connected by USB. I can print the bill manually using the 3-dot, drop-down print command. What am i doing wrong.

How to Print Bill https://help.loyverse.com/help/how-print-bill When you save a predefined open ticket, will be printed ONLY the kitchen order ticket. So, to print the predefined open tickets, it is necessary to activate the PRINT ORDERS feature in the printer settings of the POS App. Please, follow this tutorial: https://help.loyverse.com/help/using-kitchen-printers
Eastshore Posted May 13 Author Posted May 13 That’s partly correct but overlooks the following statement in your link, “How to print bill” Read directly below “steps to print a bill”. It says, “If You Use Predefined Tickets” (which we do) If the Predefined Tickets feature is active: (it is) You’ll need to choose a name from the predefined list before the ticket is saved (the names are table and room numbers) predefined ticket list (we do exactly this) After selecting the name, the bill will print automatically. (it does not print) It goes on to say "Bills are useful in dining and hospitality settings where orders are taken and paid at different times." -quite obvious, and naturally ideally applies to Predefined Tickets.
Georg Posted May 26 Posted May 26 I understand you now. Please, follow these steps if you are using the PREDEFINED OPEN TICKETS: Launch the Loyverse POS app and start creating a sale. Once you’ve added items to the ticket, tap the three dots (⋮) in the upper right corner. Select ‘Print bill’ from the dropdown menu. In opened window, please choose a name from the predefined list before the ticket is saved: After selecting the name, the bill will print automatically.
