We have recently updated 3 x POS Terminals from Sunmi T2 Lite with iMin swan 2 with built in printer as we couldn’t update Android on Sunmi which was 7.1 version where SumUp updates required Android 8 or higher!

As not tech clever and didn't realise that as the cash drawer is controlled via the iMin terminal you can’t open the cash drawer without printing a receipt which we don’t normally do unless a customer request one. I now see by reading this forum that the drawer needs to be connected to a printer so that the command to open comes via printer and in turn from the Loyverse app.

I wouldn’t be surprised if other people who have purchased iMin terminals have had the same problem but wondered if Loyverse Team work closely with these manufactures so that the software and hardware are compatible with each other. I would have thought that it would be in both iMin and Loyverse to work closely together as financially it could well benefit both of them for people looking for a great system like Loyverse and POS terminals which are value for money.

Unfortunately I feel I haven’t got a good deal now as I’ve had to replace expensive Sunmi units which are only 3 or so years old as can’t be updated to a product which is good value but unable to fulfil our requirements 

Is there any chance that Loyverse team along with iMin team can supply a solution to synchronise software and hardware that can make them a perfect combination/partners

Meanwhile, we also have an option to open the cash drawer without making a sale here.
