Is there a way to suspend an item temporarily in the POS system ?

is there a way to suspend an item temporarily in the pos system ???

so switch off when out of stock  and switch back on when back ???

Unfortunately, there's no specific feature that allows to automatically switch it off when out of stock and switch it off when the stocks have replenished. But still, you can be able to do this manually by going to your Back Office > Items tab > Item's list > then select an item that has run out of stock and then click on the "This item is available for sale" if you have only one store or select the store you want this item to not be available for sale if you have multiple stores in the pictures provided:
