can i connect two POS iPads to one cash drawer in between

Hi there,

is it possible to connect a single cash drawer to two iPads for my POS? I don't really want two drawers but we need two POS positions, they are within 2mt of each other.

Hello.

The cash drawer is connected to the POS device through the receipt printer. The only way to connect the same receipt printer to two POSes is to use an Ethernet receipt printer. 
So, if you connect the Ethernet receipt printer and connect it to the cash drawer, it will work to print receipts and open a cash drawer from two POS devices. 
The only warning to such a scheme: if two POS send the receipt to the printer simultaneously, the printer may have an error. So, better to avoid such a situation.
