BodegaBurgers Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Has anyone else notices Sale Summary Net vs. Payment methods total sales never ADD up. I do the math manually add the taxes, refunds , and discounts but it never adds up to the same number for any given day, week, or month. HELP PLEASE AM I HORRIBLE IN MATH???
Georg Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Hello Usually, it happens if you are using ADDED TO THE PRICE tax. If you used ADDED TO THE PRICE taxes, then the Net amount ( from the report Payment Method) = Net Sales +Added to the price tax amount (from the report "Taxes").
BodegaBurgers Posted April 14 Author Posted April 14 Yes , I figured but when I do the math manually and add the tax and everything else to the sales summary figure...it doesn't match up with the payment method figure. Which it should?? shouldn't it??

Hello If the amounts still do not match after checking the tax: 1. Check for tips (if you are using the integrated card payment system with Loyverse). The Sales by payment type report in the Back Office doesn't display tips made through a card reader. Tips can be found in the "Sales by employee" report, exported files of Receipts and Payment types, and the Shift report in the POS. If tips are involved, the difference should equal the tip amount. 2. Make sure the report's filters you are using for the reports are the same (same date range, store). 3. Export and compare: Export the Receipts report from the back office and the Payment type report for the same period. Compare the totals line by line to identify which specific receipt(s) cause the discrepancy. If after all the above checks the discrepancy remains unexplained, collect the exported reports and the exact filters used and report it here: "General Technical Issues" section in Loyverse Town Community https://loyverse.town/forum/22-general-technical-issues/
