Olfader Posted September 29, 2024 Posted September 29, 2024 Hello, would it be possible to add a feature so that when you add, for example, a Hamburger, you can add, remove ingridients or just put a note. Such as "Remove tomatoes" or "Add more lettuce"? It'd be awesome if this is included also in kitchen printers. Thanks.

Hello Yes, to add a comment to a specific item in a ticket, please click on that item while creating a ticket and fill in the COMMENT field: Added comments will be printed on the kitchen order or displayed on the Kitchen Display App:

Thanks! One question. How do you see that dashboard with the orders? I assume it's a kitchen screen or something?

Hello Yes, it is the Kitchen Display App. It can be installed on iPad or Android Tablet: https://loyverse.com/kitchen-display-system
ColoradoBound Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 In addition, we used modifiers for this situation. We have a Modifier named REMOVE. Additionally, we put a – in front of the item and made it all caps and put NO in front of the item so there is NO MISTAKE. (See attached) Ie. –NO MUSTARD –NO MAYO –NO ONIONS ETC... This is much quicker than typing a Comment; it perfectly shows on the KDS! I would recommend this method over Comments because of its consistency and accuracy. Sorry, I'm not at the KDS to show an example, but it's perfect to use a Modifier this way. 1 1
