Will the POS app work well over 3G mobile Internet, or do I need 4G capability?

I am looking for a low cost Android tablet to run Loyverse POS. The example I have seen has 3G only,and want to be sure it won't slow down transaction processing.

Incidentally, how much data does using the app consume?

Hello. Sure, you can use 3G to connect the device to the Internet. 
There are about 1-2KB of data per receipt transferring during syncs with the Back office.
