Update past data...

We just learned that an item we sale, our highest sold item is not taxed and we would like to update past sales data to reflect this information. Is there a way to have past data updated to reflect this?  We have updated the item from being Taxable to be off non-Taxable. How do we get the Reports updated to show this update?
