composite items

So a glass of prosecco , i'm selling at £5 cost price £3.00

I want to add the cost of the plastic glass - 24p

if i add the glass as a compositor item it takes the cost of prosecco as that i cannot then add the prosecco as a composite item, does that make sensde>?

Simplest solution:

1. Create "Prosecco, Glass" item.
2. Set price at £5.
3. Set cost at £3.24.

Accurate Solution:

1. Create Prosecco base item.
   • a) Set cost as whatever your cost is per ml.
2. Create Glass base item.
   • a) Set cost as 24p.
3. Create "Prosecco, Glass" item.
   • a) Set price at £5
   • a) Enable "Composite" setting.
   • b) add Prosecco and set qty at however much you serve per glass.
   • c) add Glass base item at qty 1.
