In 2007, the Hard Rock Cafe franchise was sold to the Seminole Tribe of Florida, a Native American group living in Florida and Oklahoma. Seminole Tribe is a federally recognized tribe, and it has six reservations. Since the 70’s, the Seminole Tribe of Florida has owned many gaming establishments like a casino, bingo and also hotels, which are the main source of income for The Seminole Tribe.
