What areas are affected by issuing a refund?

First of all, you can only issue a refund on a receipt from the same POS device where it was charged. If you track the stock of the refunded items, their inventory will increase accordingly. A refund doesn't replace the past sale. Every refund gets also a number, like #1-1024, being this number the consecutive of the last sale performed. So it acts like a negative sale, "canceling" the refunded sale. This way your sales reports will be balanced, but the refunded sale will not dissapear, it will still recorded. You can also track who issued the refund, which employee. And you can also set special rights to be able to issue a refund, being only possible if the user enters the owner's PIN code in the system.
