Solution Georg Posted September 4, 2020 Solution Share Posted September 4, 2020 Hello, dear user Yes, you can print the customer's name on the kitchen order automatically if you add this customer when you create an order. After you add a customer to the order and press the SAVE button, you need to save it as a CUSTOMER TICKET. If the customer pays upfront, it doesn't allow the option to add a name to the customer ticket. Is there a way to make this work? Unless the ticket is already saved, there is no way to enter a ticket name, so the kitchen just receives "Order: #0912-01-05" instead of a name. We are using it in a food truck environment and when we hit charge it would be more efficient for us to be able to enter a custom ticket name like "John" when we hit the charge button and take payment so when the food is ready we can shout the order out. I worked out that saving the ticket allows me to put a custom name on the ticket and then going back into the ticket and charging the customer which is a shame having that double movement. Any plans to introduce this simple option, or is there somewhere I could submit a request for it to be reviewed? The reason I ask is and whilst this feature is very simple and can be worked around is something that is make or break from me changing from Square to Loyverse. When you are very busy this faffing around to give a ticket a name so you can shout out the customers order adds time onto the process.
