  1. I'd like to explore the possibility of using it to develop an online ordering system so that we could have customer space and pay for collection or delivery orders, direct from our Loyverse Menu and send orders to our KDS for preparation.

  4. Looking to get this developed, where the client can order direct from their own mobile device at table, and also the option to order ahead from their own device. Anyone else interested in something like this? We wouldn't mind partnering with others to get this implemented and split the cost. So many opportunities with something like this. Basically, the ordering is done thru a website that is connected to Loyverse thru API. This avoids clients having to download an app or anything complicated. Needs to be super simple for client to operate from their own device, and they can order, and ask for the check when they are ready to pay. Further integration would be to allow customer to pay thru their phone as well, but for now, payment can be processed externally. Let me know!

  6. With full appreciation that Loyverse can be a free product (no employees, no inventory), the team has done quite well providing a balanced, all rounder POS. We are even considering to move from our paid subscription to Loyverse with some employees to be added. Can I just suggest that maybe the team can add a Roadmap page with potential guestimates when new features would be introduced to the system. I have checking in the forums and some features has been signaled even several years back. This would probably help taper and manage expectations by the users. Thanks again and keep up the great work!

  7. Great! We are primary going to use it to sync Loyverse stock (our primary source for the shop) to Woocommerce. (Wordpress Webshop) When an item is purchased from to store, lower the stock in Woocommerce When an items is purchased from Woocommerce, lower the stock in Loyverse We also would like to synchronise the Loyalty-program to Online and Offline sales. Same points for customers on- and offline, see points in webshop. Add new Customers to the Mailchimp mailinglist, send them a welcome-mail (maybee with related product-tips) after an offline sale. In the end we would be able to use Gift-cards on- and offline.

Hi - so like so many others I would like to hook up some e-commerce application to loyverse - and in the end the 'order' come out the kitchen display as if it had been ordered from the front desk. This is especially important now with all the lockdowns happening - and the only way to get traction is to introduce an online component to ordering for pickup or delivery. I know you are all hard at work on this - and so I am patiently watiing - but there is a real need for getting the data out in a reliable format - along with the ability to send an order to the system. - in effect a web based version of the POS (but with pretty pictures and descriptions). So while we are in lockdown it would be nice to develop something to be able to let us be able to do business even if we have very limited scope with customers being aloowed into the premises Thank you Oh while I am here and have your 'ears' would you be able have a few 'custom' fields that are text based that we (the developers) can use as we want - and loyverse just stores them - this would be ideal for us to have descriptions or other text that could be able to be used in our own app - so that means we would not have to have a seperate data repository to add our own individual data.   19. Hello, Example: Selling a drink called Mojito It is a composite item So when making a sale i want to have the option of choosing the liquor that will be deducted from the stock. Mojito with: Havana Club Bacardi etc. I also want to have a modifier that lets me make it a "double" so when i make the choice "double" then it will deduct 8cl. instead of 4.cl from the previously chosen liquor As it is now i need to make maybe 5 different items for the same cocktail, and its several different cocktails. so instead of maybe 30-50 cocktail i can end up with 200. it makes the POS very messy and tiresome to deal with. How can this problem be solved? Am I the only one that want to have a feature like this for an item?

  20. Hi Karen!, I am a restaurant operator with 33 years experience, currently Chief Of Operations of a 22 unit QSR company.. I am currently in Beta Testing with Loyverse for our stores. As online ordering is a must in today's market, we thought out of the box. And I must say the result is very good. There are plenty of quality 3rd party online ordering systems available. I will not recommend a specific one in this forum, however a diligent search of the web should return some good candidates, some free, some not. There are good choices in both categories. Remember, Loyverse runs on an iOs or Android system. And many of the online ordering systems can send your orders via an app you can download onto the same tablet that loyverse is running on, or another separate tablet if you choose. (We use 2 separate tablets). There are MANY business advantages to this approach. As we have found, keeping the online and pos separate, we have gained a dynamic ability to modify specials and offer profit driven menus online, and a broader offering in store As generally speaking you can control the online ordering and pos menu independently. Second, we have reduced ordering errors. when a team member must input the online order in to the pos, it can act as an error buffer, many times a team member can spot problems before the order gets made, whereas in an integrated system, many times the kitchen ticket just prints, and a potential check for problems is missed. You must also learn to embrace simplicity in this approach. There will be a savings in the reduced training time and general SNAFU problems inherent in many common pos software and platforms. The time you spend dealing with all of that is worth something. Somewhere along the way the major pos providers convinced us we needed all the bells and whistles to thrive. I am here to say, No you don't. Sometimes a simple approach to the solution is practical, and best. I think at least in regards to the future of restaurant tech goes; Its best to deal with people who do one thing well. Loyverse has made a very well designed and simple product. And as I stated previously there are many Online ordering providers out there who do a terrific job, for little to no cost. And i must also state there is an enhanced degree of security that will be had from this approach, when your systems function independently of each other; The risk of your entire systems being exposed to Malware or attack is very greatly reduced.   22. We use Loyverse on two different tills at our Restaurant/Bar. We'd love to have automatic Happy Hour timed discounts. Right now our staff have to remember to flip over between our predetermined Happy Hour times and then our management team have to put in duplicate entries for every item that appears on Happy Hour. We don't have a consistent 20% off or something across every product. The discounts vary. Would be great to have a switch in settings like "Support Happy Hour Discounts?" and then a field to select start and end time. Then in the individual item page, have a Happy Hour price field that can be entered at item creation.

  23. Hello there, I have created an integration between Loyverse and Twilio (SMS sending platform) by using Appypie connect. Here is how I did Create Appypie account. (https://connectcloud.appypie.com/register) Create Twilio account (https://www.twilio.com/try-twilio) Select Loyverse connection, select Watch Receipts, and connect it to my Loyverse account. (https://connectcloud.appypie.com/app/customeditor/) Then, select Twilio connection, select Send SMS, and connect to Twilio account. In Twilio, get a trial number. Select the phone number that you have created at 5 at "From Number". and select "Customer Phone Number" at "To Number". In the message section, you can create a receipt message as you want. Click "Continue" and save it. Now when you make a sale with a customer with a right phone number, the customer will receive a SMS message from you. Fin

  25. It would be nice if a certian Pending Inventory count #, can be updated base on date. Because somtimes when it is created, it will not be inventoried right a way on that day, so by the time personel did the inventoey on a diffrent day it was created, the inventory numbers would surely be different with actual and system count

  26. Hi Everyone. I find the Solution finally. To retrieve Data with PHP we should Use guzzle for php. That library is going to help us getting data. Check the documentation for Guzzle at https://docs.guzzlephp.org/en/stable/ and look at the section about Authorization, In that place we will find the way to put the Bearer token. After that, when retrieving the data just store it as an array or echo it with for loop. I hope this helps the community! I hope you all have been a nice New Year! Mizar.

I fully support this request from @CalRostit To be truly eCommerce enabled for a Restaurant with an Online Shop to take Orders and then Post an Open Ticket to Loyverse, the Loyverse API must be enabled to support Open Tickets with the Loyverse KDS functionality and Stock Keeping functionality. It is also key in the current COVID pandemic for customers to Order Online in a Store like ECWID and then allow us to be able to POST from our Online Store to Loyverse an Open Ticket for "Curb side pickup" or Delivery. Hope you wil consider this API enhancement urgently as it will open Loyverse up to so many more smaller businesses to survive in this COVID time

  32. Hello, The tutorial How to Create a Composite Item states: The maximum nesting level for composite items is 3. If an item already has a third nesting level, it is not displayed in the drop-down list when searching for components. What are the nesting levels of composite items? Let say there is an Item 1. If Item 1 is the component of Item 2 - 1st nesting level, then if Item 2 is the component of Item 3, - 2nd nesting level, then if Item 3 is the component of Item 4, - 3rd nesting level If you cannot find some items when trying to add it as a component, please check two different cases. 1) The ingredient has already three levels of components Suppose you create item 1 and then make it a component of item 2. Then you make item 2 a component of item 3. And finally, you make item 3 a component of item 4. Now you have reached the 3-d level. When you try to add item 4 to item 5, the restriction on three nested levels manifests itself as the fact that you will not see item 4 in the list. 2) A composite item is already an ingredient of another item Let's say you have a composite item 3, with the second nesting level. It consists of item 2, which includes item 1. And you have item 4, that is already the component of item 5, so they have one more nesting level. And you try to add item 3 as a component of item 4. It is not possible because this action will create a 4th nesting level. And you will not see item 3 in the list. How to check the levels of composite items If you cannot find some items when trying to add it as a component, it is better to start checking the component items' nesting levels. You can open each component from the Back office items list and inspect each item and its components. In case if you can see only one-two nesting levels of those items, you can check the nesting levels of the composite item. It is better to do in the exported file.

  35. Hello, just discovered loyverse and I'm really happy with it. But for the moment I can't use it for this reason. But I will save it for the future. This function it is necessary for restaurants. I saw how it works in other software and they have always an option after every items is selected. For example some people would like to have a main as a starter, so you would press chicken and then it will give you the option to choose it as starter or main. So when it arrives to the kitchen the order will be separated in starters | mains | drinks | .. . . . . . . Also this gives you the chance of adding more starters or mains even if lets say you have finished your order but someone said ohh sorry I want also that carpaccio for starter... It will get in the starters section. If you can add something similar will be very useful for anyone looking for a restaurant POS. Maybe you can put an option to be activated in the back office just for the restaurants, because for other type of business is not that useful but for restaurants it's a must.   38. Hi Yasuaki, We have B2B and B2C solutions. On B2B portal we are registering restaurant owners, then they can set up their restaurant and menu using the portal. These restaurants will be visible on B2C mobile application as per end user location and after selecting restaurant they can book table and place the order in that restaurant. These orders will be visible on waiter application and kitchen panel (portal) for further processing. We want to know whether we can integrate your inventory system with our B2B portal with the help of APIs. We have used MYSQL database in our application. Thanks.

  39. Here are the points you are looking for: 1. This will be the store's name in Loyverse POS 2. You can add this part in the header part in the back office -> receipts section 3. The items prices will appear in Loyverse POS receipts by default 4. Included vat are set up differently in Loyverse POS, if you need the Vat printed in this format, we can only recommend using "added to the price tax" here is how to set up taxes (https://help.loyverse.com/help/how-configur-taxes) and how taxes are calculated (https://help.loyverse.com/help/how-taxes-are-calculated) Here is how a receipt will look like (the Vat is named "Vat Incl." but it set up as added to the price so we get the same result as in the receipt sample you sent)

  43. I'm interested in this. I don't see how it would be to difficult to have it so that if the product has vat on it loyverse would automatically add that percentage onto the cost price. It's the amount of small details like this and the unwillingness to do anything about them that puts me off loyverse.

  45. There is no history or any records of voided ticket. Unless you set a kitchen display, and have all orders sent to it. then you can go through all ticket at end of day. In saying that, Loyverse can easily set a query function to provide the history of voided tickets.

  47. Hello, This happens when you have used the option Split payment for this receipt and the customer has paid a part of the total payment with cash and the other part with card. So the receipt in total was paid by two payment types that you can see these in the report. To verify you can look up for the receipt in your Back-office-> Receipt section and you will see there that the details. It would look something like this: You can learn more about "Split payment" feature in this link: https://help.loyverse.com/help/payment-loyvers With this feature you can split the total of the ticket into several partial payments and you can select a different payment type for each partial payment.
