For a refund on the Loyverse POS App, go to the Receipts menu, find one that needs to be refunded, and tap on it. In the edit window, tap the Refund button. Slide the line of the to be returned item, from the left column to the right. More details your can find: How to Issue a Refund on Loyverse POS

I understand the return/refund process. However, I occasionally need to do a return/refund to a customer without a receipt. How can the return/refund process be completed without a receipt present?

If you want to refund an item you need to find it first and for that you will need the receipt number. I don't think there is another way for it.

Does anyone know if there is a report on who did a refund?  Like who approved it?

If I have a manager who approved the discount/refund, I want to know who was the manager that did it. The report in back office will say that the cashier who did it.

Unfortunately, there you can see only the name of the cashier. You can't see whose PIN was used to use a discount with restricted access rights.

Me too, this missing feature Is the only thing keeping me from using this nice software.

Can you issue a refund on a item when you don't know the receipt number?  For example, an item is returned with no receipt, I can't search the item anywhere either to see what date it was sold and for how much?

Hi, I want to make a refund the original price for a couple of items in one single bill, however the refund automatically prorated the total bill discounted amount (meaning refund less to my customer). How do I edit or customize my refunds options?

Hello

Unfortunately, it is not possible to customise the refund amount. You can refund only the amounts which were paid by customer. Discount cannot be ignored.

Hi

Is there any workaround for refunding customers who don't have a receipt in Loyverse?? We are migrating from another POS and there will be customers who purchased under the old POS system.

The simplest would be to allow negative amounts in Sale process but this doesn't seem available?

Hello

You can try this way to create a receipt in the Loyverse POS App with the old date and then refund it:
 

There is no special feature to enter sales with the previous dates, but you can try this workaround:

Make sure you're in online mode, then Log out of the app.

Change the time and date settings on your device (to enter sales from the 25th of August, change to 25/08).

After doing this, log in again and you can enter sales for the specified days.

Then log out from the app again and change back the date and time on your device.

Now, please log in to the app and refund the receipt you wish:
