Loyverse starts customization for users from Germany. From now on (starting from Loyverse POS app for Android version 2.14 and for iOS version 2.24), the Loyverse accounts with the country of registration Germany have slightly different views of receipts and shift reports. This is made in an attempt to correspond to GoBD regulation, which requires a special presentation of taxes in the receipts and shift reports.

Loyverse POS for iOS gets a significant boost regarding ordering and employee management. And we will also talk about an important addition regarding access rights for employees.

1. Dining options
The new version 2.0 of Loyverse POS app for iPhone and iPad has just been released. We implemented many cool new designs, such as a new customized sale screen, payment selection screen, receipt management, and many others.

You can arrange your items on the sales screen of Loyverse POS in a suitable way by creating new custom pages and organizing the items there.

The new version 2.0 of Loyverse POS app for Android tablets and smartphones has just been released. We implemented cool new designs, such as a new customized sale screen, payment selection screen, receipt management, and many others.

In the Loyverse POS app version 2.16 for Android, we have added support for built-in LED customer display for Sunmi models T1 MINI and T2 MINI.
During the sale, the system displays information about each item (with variant) that is added to the ticket.
When selecting the payment type, the “Amount Due” is displayed so that the buyer can see how much they need to pay.
The customer’s display also displays the total paid amount and the amount of change so that the buyer can see
We are happy to announce that since the version of the Loyverse POS app 2.10.2 for Android, the app can be integrated with SumUp card readers.
First, you have to download and install the Sumup app on your device. Then connect the SumUp app with your SumUp account.
When you make a sale in the Loyverse POS app and choose SumUp as the payment type, SumUp will open to process the payment through the SumUp reader.

Starting with version 2.26 Loyverse POS for iOS, you can create and change taxes at the POS.
In the ‘Taxes’ section of the ‘Settings’ menu, you can add new taxes and change existing ones.

The version 1.32 of Loyverse POS for iOS brings two significant additions: Predefined tickets and compatibility with Customer Display System (CDS) for Android devices.
We received many, many requests from our users asking for an easier way to create their own default tickets or table management options; so the Loyverse team decided it was a good idea and they started working on a solution for all of them. The final result is the predefined tickets.

We are glad to introduce new functionalities that were just released for the Back Office as a part of the Advanced inventory management: Production and Autofill of items in the purchase order. Also, we have improved the ‘customers’ section in the Back Office.
Before, if you used composite items, you could only track the stock of its components. But from now on, you can start producing your composite items and track its stock.
The production functionality can be useful
In some countries, the tax on certain goods depends on the dining options. For example, if the customer orders food for takeout, it is not taxed. But in the case of consuming the same food inside the cafe, it is taxed.
Now you can set this tax options in Loyverse POS. This feature is currently available for iOS users, and it’ll be available for Android users later.

From now on, you can access not only the information about the current shift or closing shift, but you can also see the previous shifts on the POS. Shifts from the current POS will be displayed in the list if you tap the ‘Shift’ button in the main menu.
Non-synchronized shifts (unsynchronized events, such as openings, closing, pay-ins, payouts) will say ‘Unsynced’.

Sales summary in shift report
The closed shift report now contains data of the cash drawer and other sales summary report data. You can also print shift report with your receipt printer.

Displaying of the Stock and Cost of Items in the POS
Now you can see the current stock of your items in the store from the POS app.

The possibility of reprinting the kitchen orders has also been added. This would be useful when your kitchen printer had not printed the order for some reason (for example, when it ran out of paper). If you open the saved ticket and tap ‘Reprint order’ button from the three dots menu.

You can also reprint the kitchen orders 2 hours after closing the open ticket from the Receipts section.
Now, you can access the list of receipts of registered customers on the POS. This is useful when you want to find a receipt from a specific customer or check the previous purchases of the customer.
To see the purchase history of the customer when making sales, just tap the button “view purchases” on the registered customer profile.

The new feature has been released on Loyverse POS app for Android. Tablet users now have the option to choose the layout of the home sales screen - either in a grid or linear form. The feature allows you to find the desired product or discount more conveniently and add them to the receipt.
You can find the option by going to the General section of the application settings.
The grid layout is set by default but if you prefer the List layout, click the option to make the change.
The background of the app should match the user’s environment. Up until now, the Loyverse POS app had only one background setting – the light interface.
